Engineering Technician – Documentation & ERP Control

About the role

The Engineering Technician is responsible for owning controlled engineering documentation and ERP master data for heavy‑gauge thermoforming programs. The role ensures that SolidWorks and EPDM specifications, as well as NetSuite item masters, BOMs, routings, and work order packets, are accurate and reflect the latest approved release before production work orders are issued.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, revise, and release SolidWorks drawings, layouts, and specifications for production.
• Maintain EPDM/PDM records, metadata, revision history, and manage redlines and legacy drawing cleanup.
• Execute quick‑turn drawing edits and control release timing to support urgent production needs.
• Validate print/release accuracy and ensure correct revision content is included in production packets.
• Create and maintain NetSuite item master data, BOMs, routings, work instructions, and packaging instructions.
• Perform BOM and inventory hygiene to guarantee work order completeness.
• Administer Engineering Change Requests (ECR/ECO) and deviations, routing approvals, tracking progress, and ensuring ISO 9001:2015 compliance.
• Provide immediate support to plant personnel during normal business hours and participate in daily production cadence.

Required profile

• Experience with engineering documentation control in a manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015 document control and traceability requirements.
