About the role
The Executive Housekeeper leads daily housekeeping, recreation/health club, and laundry operations (if applicable) at a resort in Taghazout Bay. The role ensures guest rooms, public areas, and employee spaces are clean, well‑maintained, and inspected to the highest standards while supporting guest and employee satisfaction within budgetary limits.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate guest‑room status updates with the Front Desk and collaborate with Engineering on maintenance needs.
- Supervise the general cleaning schedule, assign work based on room turnover lists, and manage inventory of supplies and uniforms.
- Conduct inspections of guestrooms and public spaces, communicate corrective actions, and ensure compliance with housekeeping policies.
- Monitor departmental expenses, assist with budgeting, and help control costs to meet financial targets.
- Address guest complaints, promote exceptional service, and empower staff to improve performance.
- Participate in HR activities such as staffing, accident investigations, and consistent application of policies.
Required profile
- High school diploma or GED with at least 2 years of housekeeping or related experience, OR a 2‑year degree in Hotel & Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field (no experience required).
- Strong organizational abilities and a focus on quality and guest satisfaction.
