Field Service Lead

About the role

The Field Service Lead heads the team responsible for keeping Harmattan AI’s deployed defense systems operational across customer sites. This senior, hands‑on leadership position combines deep technical expertise with coordination of field resources to ensure system readiness.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, schedule, and mentor a team of Field Service Specialists across multiple customer locations.
• Own the preventive and corrective maintenance program for the deployed estate, ensuring operational readiness.
• Define, maintain, and continuously improve maintenance standards, procedures, and checklists.
• Act as the senior escalation point for complex fault diagnosis and oversee depot‑level and sub‑assembly repair capabilities.
• Manage the spare‑parts and sustainment model, including availability, consumption tracking, reorder signals, and obsolescence management.
• Track and report system availability and maintenance status, identifying issues before they affect readiness.
• Enable customer maintenance teams through knowledge transfer and support, driving toward operational autonomy.
• Bridge field maintenance and engineering to address recurring or systemic issues.

Required profile

• Substantial hands‑on maintenance experience on complex electromechanical and/or electronic systems.
• Demonstrated experience leading or coordinating field service or maintenance teams.
• Advanced diagnostic depth capable of leading complex fault analysis and overseeing component‑level repairs.
• Strong understanding of spare‑parts logistics and sustainment processes.
