Front Office Agent – Shift Leader

About the role
The Front Office Agent – Shift Leader will be the first point of contact for guests at Pestana Tangier Hotel. You will ensure smooth check‑in and check‑out processes, maintain a welcoming atmosphere, and support the front‑desk team during your shift.
Key responsibilities
- Greet guests, assist with check‑in and check‑out, and handle guest inquiries.
- Maintain a positive attitude and friendly demeanor at all times.
- Answer and forward phone calls promptly and professionally.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and hotel policies.
- Keep the front‑office area tidy, organized, and presentable.
Required profile
- Previous experience in a similar front‑office role within a 4‑star hotel.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to plan, organise, multitask and prioritize tasks.
- Professional appearance and attitude.
- Effective verbal and written communication in French and English.
- Team‑player with flexibility regarding work schedules.
- Capability to respond appropriately to diverse customers and guests.
