HR Manager

About the role

Versigent is seeking an experienced HR Manager to join the plant leadership team in Morocco. Reporting to the Plant Manager and functionally to the HR Director, you will drive all human‑resources activities that support operational performance, compliance, and people development in a high‑volume manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and oversee plant‑level HR functions including employee relations, staffing, development, compensation & benefits, payroll and HR administration.
• Translate business objectives into HR strategies, action plans and measurable KPIs.
• Own core HR processes, ensuring continuous improvement and full compliance with Moroccan labor law and internal standards.
• Manage industrial relations, social climate, disciplinary actions and labor disputes.
• Drive workforce planning, staffing and development initiatives aligned with production needs.
• Prepare and monitor the HR budget and social indicators, delivering accurate reporting.
• Lead, coach and develop the site HR team, fostering performance and engagement.
• Facilitate internal communication and change management across the plant.
• Act as a trusted advisor to plant leadership on all people‑related matters.

Required profile

• Proven HR leadership experience, preferably in automotive or industrial manufacturing.
• Strong background in labor relations, social dialogue and employee engagement in high‑headcount settings.
• Ability to operate strategically and operationally.
• Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law or equivalent.
• 5‑10 years progressive HR experience, including management responsibilities.
• Deep knowledge of Moroccan labor legislation.
• Fluent in English and French; Arabic strongly preferred.
• Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 30%.
