Junior CBS Engineer – MDV Amplitude Program

About the role

This position supports the upgrade program for the CBS Amplitude core banking system. It is part of a structured learning path that covers functional knowledge of the CBS, banking processes, system interactions, and project management basics. The role starts with testing activities to gain hands‑on experience and progresses toward active participation in project phases.

Key responsibilities

• Execute functional, non‑regression and business scenario test campaigns on CBS Amplitude.
• Analyse, qualify and track anomalies or test tickets, collaborating with project teams, asset managers and the software vendor.
• Support project phases (testing, configuration, deployment preparation, hyper‑care) by assisting project managers, monitoring deliverables and reporting progress.
• Map and understand CBS interactions with peripheral IT systems (interfaces, data flows, batch processes) and contribute to impact analyses for version upgrades.
• Provide first‑level functional support for CBS, using documentation and business/technical references.
• Create and maintain documentation of business journeys, test scenarios and lessons learned for the CBS community.

Required profile

• Recent graduate or early‑career professional eager to develop expertise in core banking systems.
• Strong interest in banking products (accounts, credits, payments, transfers, accounting) and their processing flows.
• Ability to work methodically on test design, execution and defect documentation.
• Good analytical skills to understand system interfaces, data flows and batch operations.

Required skills

• Familiarity with CBS Amplitude or similar core banking platforms.
• Experience or knowledge of functional testing and non‑regression test methodologies.
• Understanding of banking operations and related data flows.
