Manufacturing & Process Technician IV

About the role

As a Manufacturing & Process Technician IV you will support the full lifecycle of production equipment, from installation to ramp‑up and continuous improvement. You will work closely with the production team to ensure machines operate safely, efficiently, and in line with defined standards.

Key responsibilities

• Receive new or transferred machines and assist with installation.
• Train production staff before and during ramp‑up plans.
• Address technical issues during pre‑serial runs and drive improvements.
• Maintain and optimise machine layout, ensuring compliance with defined standards.
• Conduct sampling activities and oversee ramp‑up execution.
• Define and enforce Standard Work Instructions (SWI) for cameras, sensors, and dummy parts.
• Monitor process parameters and execute action plans.
• Participate in claims analysis, PFMEA development, and Gemba walks.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of new solutions and continuous improvement opportunities.

Required profile

• Mechanical or electromechanical technician degree.
• 1‑3 years of relevant experience in manufacturing or process environments.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CAD tools.
• Capacity analysis knowledge.
• Experience with fully automatic and precision processes.
• Automation machine programming.
• Setting and teaching of sensors and camera systems.
