Manufacturing & Process Technician

About the role

We are looking for a Manufacturing & Process Technician to join our team at TE. You will work across the full manufacturing lifecycle, ensuring new machines are installed correctly, production ramps up smoothly, and processes meet quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Receive new or transferred machines and support their installation.
• Train and support the production team before and during ramp‑up phases.
• Address technical issues during pre‑serial runs and continuous improvement projects.
• Maintain and optimise machine layout according to defined standards.
• Conduct sampling activities and ensure adherence to ramp‑up plans.
• Establish and enforce Standard Work Instructions (SWI) for processes.
• Define reference parameters for cameras and sensors during validation.
• Create dummy parts and related SWI.
• Monitor and respect process parameters throughout production.
• Execute action plans and participate in claims analysis.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of new solutions.
• Identify and pursue improvement opportunities.
• Ensure proper functioning of work stations.
• Participate in PFMEA development and conduct Gemba walks.

Required profile

• Mechanical or electro‑mechanical technician degree.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in manufacturing or process environments.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CAD software.
• Capacity analysis expertise.
• Automation machine programming knowledge.
• Experience with sensor integration and camera setup.
• Ability to define and manage process parameters.
