Manufacturing Quality Engineer

About the role

Join TE Connectivity as a Manufacturing Quality Engineer, supporting quality assurance activities across our production sites. You will focus on real‑time defect prevention, problem resolution, and ensuring our products meet the highest customer expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain customer satisfaction by meeting quality, certification, and delivery expectations.
• Deploy quality indicators and targets within the manufacturing area.
• Lead 8D problem‑solving meetings for customer claims and internal critical issues.
• Achieve and sustain IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 certifications without non‑conformities.
• Support internal and external audits and drive scrap‑reduction initiatives.
• Update and ensure compliance with control plans and PFMEA.
• Prepare and submit PPAP documentation, ensuring DFMEA, PFMEA, Control Plan, PSW, etc., are complete.
• Identify and mitigate risks during project transfers or launches and document lessons learned.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 2 years experience in quality within connector, molding or cable‑assembly environments.
• Familiarity with APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plan, MSA, SPC, R@R, and 8D tools.
• Process auditor skills and basic SAP knowledge.
• Strong presentation, communication, negotiation and coaching abilities.
