Medical Manager – Breast Cancer & Hematology

About the role

The Medical Manager will support the development and execution of the local Medical Affairs strategy for Breast Cancer and Hematology, ensuring scientific exchange, evidence generation, and compliant stakeholder engagement in line with Novartis standards and local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to the design, execution, and monitoring of the local Medical Affairs plan aligned with global and regional strategies.
• Act as scientific reference for the therapy area, ensuring patient‑centric, evidence‑based, non‑promotional activities.
• Establish and maintain high‑quality scientific dialogue with KOLs, investigators, societies, and regulatory/public health stakeholders.
• Support scientific meetings, advisory boards, and educational initiatives while complying with governance and regulations.
• Provide timely, accurate medical information responses in accordance with SOPs.
• Offer medical and scientific input for clinical research, including NIS, IITs, and RWE initiatives.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally to share medical insights with pharmacovigilance, regulatory, market access, quality, commercial, and brand teams.
• Coordinate medical review and approval of materials, ensuring separation of promotional and non‑promotional content.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate medical and compliance risks, maintaining internal controls.
• Ensure rapid reporting of adverse events, technical complaints, and special cases to support patient safety.
