MFG & Process Technician

About the role

We are looking for a Manufacturing & Process Technician to join our team at TE. The role involves supporting the installation, ramp‑up and continuous improvement of automated production equipment, ensuring compliance with layout, process and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Receive new or transferred machines and assist with their installation.
• Train and support the production team during ramp‑up and ongoing operations.
• Address technical issues in pre‑serial production and drive improvements.
• Maintain and optimise machine layout according to defined standards.
• Conduct sampling activities and enforce the ramp‑up plan.
• Develop and follow Standard Work Instructions (SWI) for equipment and processes.
• Define reference parameters for cameras and sensors during validation.
• Create dummy parts and associated SWI.
• Monitor and ensure adherence to process parameters.
• Execute action plans, analyse claims and contribute to new solution design.
• Identify improvement opportunities and support PFMEA development.
• Perform Gemba walks to verify station performance.

Required profile

• Mechanical or electro‑mechanical technician qualification.
• 1–3 years of experience in manufacturing or process environments.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CAD software.
• Capacity analysis.
• Automation machine programming.
• Configuration and calibration of sensors and cameras.
