Molding Setup Man

About the role

The Molding Setup Man will operate common machine tools to produce precision‑molded parts, maintaining close tolerances while supporting a safe and sustainable manufacturing environment. This role involves preparing equipment for specific production runs and ensuring consistent quality throughout the process.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute specific production runs, setting up molding machines according to job specifications.
• Monitor workflow and machine performance to guarantee product quality and adherence to procedures.
• Provide guidance and on‑the‑job training to junior or new operators.
• Conduct periodic inspections and tests of machine components, reporting critical feedback to engineers and supervisors.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment failures, maintain activity logs, and document final product records.

Required profile

• Minimum 0‑2 years of related experience in a manufacturing or production setting.
• High school diploma required; vocational training or an associate degree is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to follow safety, quality, and procedural standards.
