About the role
The Ritz‑Carlton Rabat is seeking a creative and experienced Pastry Chef to lead its pastry team. You will be responsible for crafting high‑quality pastries for all hotel outlets while driving guest and employee satisfaction.
Key responsibilities
- Lead, coach and schedule the pastry culinary team, ensuring smooth day‑to‑day operations.
- Develop and execute new pastry concepts, maintaining artistic presentation and flavor excellence.
- Oversee food safety, sanitation, storage, and handling standards in compliance with all regulations.
- Manage inventory, purchasing, receiving, and waste control to stay within the operating budget.
- Prepare pastries personally during service and for special events, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Conduct training sessions to improve team performance and uphold brand standards.
Required profile
- High school diploma/GED with 4 years culinary experience, or a 2‑year culinary degree with 2 years experience.
- Strong leadership, communication and integrity; ability to work hands‑on and fill in for team members.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety and guest satisfaction.
