About the role

Harmattan AI is seeking a Program Manager to serve as the operational backbone for its European and Middle‑East defense programs. You will be the primary interface with defense customers, overseeing end‑to‑end delivery, ensuring contractual compliance, and coordinating internal teams to meet critical milestones.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the single point of contact for customers throughout program execution.
• Lead and coordinate cross‑functional teams to ensure on‑time, on‑spec delivery of complex, mass‑produced systems.
• Guarantee that all deliverables meet contractual, technical, and operational requirements.
• Anticipate risks and lead rapid, structured resolution of issues as they arise.
• Own the program timeline and trigger invoicing at contractual milestones.
• Track and resolve program‑level blockers, both technical and administrative.
• Ensure centralized product policies align with program‑specific and customer‑specific constraints.
• Identify missing enablers and escalate internally to unblock delivery or alignment.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in program or project management within the defense sector.
• Significant experience as a Program Manager, including leading product development, high‑volume deliveries, and customer support.
• Proven track record managing complex deliveries and mass‑production with direct client interface and contractual responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of defense acquisition processes, program milestones, and compliance documentation.
• Ability to manage programs in cutting‑edge/disruptive environments and oversee a complete business plan.
• Detail‑oriented with excellent documentation and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities to motivate and guide teams.
