About the role

Harmattan AI is seeking a Program Manager to serve as the operational backbone for its European and Middle‑East defense programs. You will be the primary liaison with defense customers, overseeing end‑to‑end delivery, ensuring contractual compliance, and coordinating internal teams to meet critical milestones.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the single point of contact for customers throughout program execution.
• Lead cross‑functional teams to deliver complex, mass‑produced systems on time and to specification.
• Guarantee that all deliverables meet contractual, technical, and operational requirements.
• Anticipate risks and manage crises with rapid, structured resolution.
• Own program timelines and trigger invoicing at contractual milestones.
• Track and resolve program‑level blockers, both technical and administrative.
• Align centralized product policies with program‑specific and customer‑specific constraints.
• Identify missing enablers and escalate internally to unblock delivery.

Required profile

• 10+ years of program or project management experience in the defense sector.
• Proven track record leading product development, high‑volume deliveries, and direct client interfaces.
• Strong knowledge of defense acquisition processes, program milestones, and compliance documentation.
• Ability to manage programs in cutting‑edge or disruptive environments.
• Detail‑oriented with excellent documentation and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities to motivate and guide teams.
