QA Automation Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced QA Automation Engineer to lead the quality assurance effort for our software products, with a focus on test automation and AI/ML testing. You will work closely with developers, data scientists and product owners in an Agile environment to ensure reliability, performance and fairness of AI‑driven features.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain automated test frameworks for web, API, mobile and AI/ML components.
• Create test plans, cases and strategies covering functional, regression, integration, performance and end‑to‑end testing.
• Perform specialised testing of AI/ML models, including data validation, accuracy, bias detection, drift monitoring and adversarial testing.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions) and enable continuous testing.
• Leverage AI‑assisted testing tools to improve coverage and efficiency.
• Identify, document and track defects, collaborate on root‑cause analysis and resolution.
• Promote QA best practices and stay up‑to‑date with emerging automation and AI testing trends.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 3 years of professional QA experience with a strong emphasis on test automation.
• Hands‑on experience testing AI/ML systems and understanding of machine‑learning workflows.
• Proven ability to work in fast‑paced Agile/Scrum teams.

Required skills

• Programming: Python, Java, JavaScript.
• Automation frameworks: Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, Robot Framework, pytest.
• CI/CD: Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions; version control with Git.
• Issue tracking: Jira, Azure DevOps.
• AI/ML concepts and tools: TensorFlow, PyTorch, model validation, bias/fairness testing.
• Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, GCP; containerisation with Docker, Kubernetes.
• Performance and API testing: JMeter, Locust, Postman, REST Assured.
• ISTQB certification is a strong plus.
