Quality Manager – Manufacturing

About the role

Hexcel is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead and enhance the quality system at its Casablanca manufacturing site. The role focuses on maintaining ISO EN9100 certification, driving customer satisfaction, and ensuring accurate laboratory test results while supporting continuous improvement across the plant.

Key responsibilities

• Provide leadership to implement, improve and maintain ISO EN9100 quality system.
• Drive internal and external customer satisfaction by understanding material and system requirements and resolving issues.
• Act as primary resource for customer complaints, rejections and corrective actions, maintaining cooperative relationships.
• Ensure QC test laboratories release accurate results meeting on‑time delivery and lead‑time metrics.
• Manage IMS, conduct internal audits, and follow up on action plans.
• Prepare quality plans and manuals for existing and new products, including sampling plans and special customer requirements.
• Ensure manufacturing documents comply with quality requirements.
• Measure, track and communicate performance metrics (PPM, customer credits, complaints, First Pass Yield, etc.).
• Lead major issue resolution using FMEA, PCP and other problem‑solving techniques.
• Manage system, customer and supplier quality audits.

Required profile

• Engineering degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of quality experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical ability to interpret data, identify trends and solve problems.
• Proven leadership and communication skills for managing teams and reporting to executives.

Required skills

• ISO EN9100 / AS9100 certification knowledge.
• NADCAP requirements familiarity.
• Statistical Process Control (SPC).
• Root cause analysis and risk management.
• Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and Process Control Plans (PCP).
• Lean / Six Sigma methodology (preferred).
• Hands‑on experience with measurement and inspection equipment.
