Remote Drupal Web Developer

About the role

We are looking for a remote Drupal Web Developer to design, build and maintain complex web applications using Drupal. You will collaborate with project managers, designers and other developers to turn designs into secure, high‑performance sites.

Key responsibilities

• Architect, build and maintain Drupal‑based websites and applications.
• Develop custom modules and themes using PHP and JavaScript.
• Integrate third‑party services and APIs.
• Perform core updates, apply security patches and ensure module compatibility.
• Test, debug and optimise front‑ and back‑end performance to achieve high uptime.
• Participate in code reviews and share knowledge with the team.
• Document technical specifications and system architecture.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, IT or equivalent experience.
• 3‑5 years of hands‑on Drupal development, preferably Drupal 9/10.
• Strong self‑motivation, time‑management and communication skills.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Required skills

• Drupal (9/10) – custom module and theme development.
• PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/jQuery.
• Version control with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Containerised development using Docker.
• API integration and headless/decoupled Drupal.
• Automated testing frameworks.
