Storekeeper

About the role

The Ritz-Carlton in Rabat is looking for a Storekeeper. The role covers receiving, staging and storing merchandise, keeping inventory records and maintaining food safety and hygiene standards in the kitchen and storage areas.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and stage merchandise by department, mark it for placement and deliver it to the right department
• Stack received goods on pallets or carts and complete requisition forms for inventory and supplies
• Notify managers or supervisors of low stock levels in a timely manner
• Inspect deliveries for freshness, cleanliness, consistency and quality, and refuse damaged or incorrect items
• Store perishables properly, rotate stock and organize, clean and sanitize refrigerators, freezers, floors, food equipment and drains
• Remove empty pallets, cardboard and trash to proper storage areas
• Report accidents, injuries and unsafe conditions, complete safety training and follow company policies
• Interact professionally with guests and colleagues and comply with quality assurance standards

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
• No related work experience required
• Able to stand, sit or walk for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, read small print and move through narrow or uneven spaces
