Team Manager

About the role

Stellantis is seeking a Team Manager to lead the Serial Life team responsible for HVAC and Engine systems components. The role combines people leadership with deep technical oversight of product quality, supplier performance and warranty cost management in a high‑volume production environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Serial Life team for HVAC and Engine systems, defining objectives aligned with quality, cost and delivery, and managing workload, skill development and technical maturity.
• Supervise Design Release Engineers, ensuring effective execution of serial‑life activities, quality issue resolution, product robustness, supplier follow‑up and technical analyses.
• Own critical quality topics for engine mechanical components, conduct root‑cause analyses (8D, QRQC, KT, Shainin) and drive corrective and preventive actions to guarantee non‑recurrence.
• Manage technical supplier relationships, challenge supplier files and action plans, and support escalations and technical arbitration.
• Ensure APQP compliance during serial life, monitor product and process risks, track key characteristics and guarantee long‑term technical robustness.
• Monitor total warranty spending for HVAC and Engine systems, identify cost‑of‑non‑quality drivers and lead reduction initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading serial‑life or production teams in the automotive sector.
• Strong background in HVAC and engine mechanical components.
• Demonstrated ability to manage quality issues, supplier performance and warranty cost.
• Experience with APQP processes and product robustness programs.
• Ability to drive cross‑functional technical analyses and decision‑making.
