About the role

The Rabat Marriott Hotel is seeking a skilled Refrigeration Technician to join its engineering team. You will be the first point of contact for guest repair requests and will ensure all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems operate smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to and resolve guest maintenance requests with minimal supervision.
• Perform preventive maintenance, cleaning, lubrication, and visual inspections of tools, equipment, and HVAC systems.
• Identify, locate, and operate shut‑off valves; maintain inventory and requisition parts.
• Communicate daily activities and issues to subsequent shifts using approved procedures.
• Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and plumbing diagrams.
• Execute complex repairs on air‑conditioning, refrigeration, pool heaters, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical equipment.
• Apply Lockout/Tagout procedures before any maintenance work.
• Utilise engineering software for preventive maintenance, energy management, and MEP troubleshooting.
• Train and mentor junior engineers and act as Engineer on Duty when required.

Required profile

• Advanced ability to read standard blueprints and electrical schematics.
• Above‑average engineering operations skills with strong mechanical aptitude.
• Proficiency in at least three of the following: air‑conditioning/refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, pneumatic/electronic controls.
• Basic knowledge of the remaining categories and solid safety practices.
• Capability to work independently and mentor others.
