Account Receivable Specialist

About the role

COFICAB, a global leader in the design, manufacturing and sale of wires and cables mainly for the automotive industry, is hiring an Account Receivable Specialist in Tangier, Morocco. The role covers daily accounts receivable processing, fixed assets, month-end closing, bank reconciliations and reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily AR accounting tasks such as billing, credit memos, payment receipt verification and posting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
• Record fixed asset acquisitions and disposals in the accounting system and calculate depreciation for all fixed assets.
• Take part in fixed asset inventory and reconcile FA records with the physical inventory regularly.
• Carry out monthly and/or yearly closing activities, including materials and product inventory, data reconciliation and end-period posting.
• Prepare financial and tax disclosures in line with local tax regulations.
• Reconcile bank accounts (payroll, O2C, P2P, sundry), investigate differences and propose corrective actions following defined procedures.
• Prepare, communicate and review accounting KPIs and define continuous improvement plans for processes, procedures and systems.

Required profile

• Master's degree in Finance or Accounting.
• 1 to 3 years of accounting experience.
• Good level of French and English is mandatory.
