Accountant (Finance & Reporting)

About the role

We are looking for a meticulous Accountant who thrives on organization and detail. In this position you will ensure accounting quality, compliance with tax and accounting regulations, and support the automation of closing processes.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate accounting records and ensure compliance with standards and internal policies.
• Perform month‑end activities, including reconciliations, journal entries, and close analyses.
• Support and improve the closing process through automation and enhanced reporting.
• Develop and maintain advanced Excel tools and Power BI dashboards for reporting and data analysis.
• Manage treasury activities such as bank payments, reconciliations, and cash‑flow tracking.
• Prepare financial statements in line with local statutory and tax requirements.
• Ensure data integrity and proper archiving of financial documentation.

Required profile

• BSc or university degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Fluency in Arabic and French, with professional proficiency in English.
• Strong knowledge of accounting and tax regulations, including GAAP.
• Hands‑on experience with accounting and ERP systems.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel (complex formulas, data modeling, automation).
• Power Query / Power Pivot.
• VBA (a plus).
• Power BI (data modeling and dashboard creation).
• ERP and accounting software.
