Accountant – Tangier, Morocco

About the role

InnovMed Tech Group is seeking a qualified Accountant to join its finance team in Tangier. The role involves supporting accounting, tax, and financial reporting functions while ensuring compliance with Moroccan regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily accounting and bookkeeping tasks.
• Prepare accurate financial statements and management reports.
• Handle tax filings and ensure adherence to Moroccan tax laws.
• Coordinate with tax authorities, auditors, and other government entities.
• Support budgeting, financial analysis, and internal control processes.
• Assist with reporting to the Group headquarters and other finance‑related activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of Moroccan accounting standards and tax regulations.
• Experience in a multinational environment and reporting to an overseas headquarters is preferred.
• Fluent written and spoken English; ability to communicate with local authorities and international teams.
• Based in Tangier and able to work onsite.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with accounting software.
