About the role

The Sorting Agent will work under the supervision of the Preparation & Transfer Manager to sort and classify ferrous and non‑ferrous materials at the El Jadida site. The role focuses on meeting performance, quality, safety, environmental and regulatory standards while ensuring a clean and orderly work area.

Key responsibilities

• Sort and classify ferrous and non‑ferrous materials according to company procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Separate waste streams (scrap metal, plastics, etc.) and load them onto trucks following sorting protocols.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in the reception zone after each operation.
• Report any material non‑conformities to the Team Leader.
• Ensure availability and compliance of personal and collective safety equipment.
• Contribute to the design and improvement of maintenance procedures.

Required profile

• Minimum Bac +2 technical education.
• 3 to 5 years of hands‑on experience in material sorting or a similar industrial environment.
• Strong knowledge of different material types and sorting procedures.
• Ability to use appropriate handling tools safely.
• Familiarity with integrated management systems (ISO 9001, ISO 45001, ISO 14001, ISO 50001).
