Assistant Housekeeping Manager

About the role

The Assistant Housekeeping Manager supports the Executive Housekeeper in delivering high‑quality housekeeping services across guest rooms, public areas, laundry and linen operations at Sofitel Casablanca Tour Blanche. You will ensure standards of cleanliness, guest comfort and operational efficiency are consistently met.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in planning and organizing daily housekeeping activities, staffing schedules and labour planning.
• Monitor and coach housekeeping ambassadors to maintain service standards and courteous guest interactions.
• Inspect guest rooms and public areas regularly to ensure cleanliness, proper maintenance and compliance with the department’s Operations Manual.
• Coordinate training sessions for new and existing staff, focusing on service standards, grooming and job knowledge.
• Prepare weekly staffing rosters, track attendance and manage payroll‑related cost controls.
• Maintain accurate inventory of linens, supplies and guest amenities, preventing loss or pilferage.
• Handle guest complaints, resolve issues promptly and ensure guest satisfaction.
• Support performance reviews, KPI tracking and continuous team development.

Required profile

• Previous housekeeping management experience in a similar role.
• Strong operational background with proven ability to implement brand standards.
• Excellent time‑management, organisational skills and the ability to work autonomously.
• Well‑groomed appearance and articulate communication.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Opera property management system.
• Strong command of Microsoft Office applications.
