Automotive Requirements Management Engineer - DOORS DXL

About the role

ALTEN Delivery Center Morocco, a subsidiary of ALTEN, is looking for an Automotive Requirements Management Engineer who will work with IBM DOORS and its DXL scripting language. The role covers data import/export, requirement management for component and cross-sectional domains, and variant and version control.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain DXL scripts for data import/export in IBM DOORS
• Create and manage DOORS attributes, validate baselines and ensure correct linking of submodules
• Implement and optimise multi-export solutions from DOORS to Excel
• Extract specialised data from DOORS for reporting and analysis
• Use and adapt VBA macros in Excel for searching and data manipulation
• Prepare and automate status reports using Excel PowerQuery
• Support requirement management for Component-LAH and Querschnitts-LAH domains
• Manage versioning and variant configurations of requirements throughout the development lifecycle

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in the automotive sector
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience with DOORS DXL scripting, including import/export automation
• Proven experience in variant and version management
• Excellent communication skills in English (C1 level or higher)
• Analytical mindset, attention to detail and ability to work independently

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of requirements management, especially in component and cross-sectional areas
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, including PowerQuery and VBA scripting
