Automotive Requirements Management Engineer

About the role

ALTEN Maroc is seeking an experienced Automotive Requirements Management Engineer to join its Rabat office. You will work on the definition, configuration and reporting of requirements for component‑level and cross‑sectional (Querschnitts) domains within automotive projects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain DXL scripts for data import/export in IBM DOORS.
• Create and manage DOORS attributes, validate baselines and ensure correct linking of sub‑modules.
• Implement and optimise multi‑export solutions from DOORS to Excel.
• Extract specialised data from DOORS for reporting and analysis.
• Use and adapt VBA macros in Excel for efficient searching and data manipulation.
• Prepare and automate status reports using Excel PowerQuery.
• Support requirement‑management activities for Component‑LAH and Querschnitts‑LAH domains.
• Manage versioning and variant configurations of requirements throughout the development lifecycle.
• Customise, maintain and optimise DOORS modules through DXL scripting, supporting both component‑level and cross‑sectional handling.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in the automotive sector.
• At least 2 years of hands‑on experience with IBM DOORS DXL scripting (import/export automation).
• Strong knowledge of requirements management, especially component and cross‑sectional areas.
• Proven experience in variant and version management.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerQuery and VBA scripting.
• Excellent English communication skills (C1 level or higher).
• Analytical mindset, attention to detail and ability to work independently.
