AUTOSAR Platform Engineer

About the role

The AUTOSAR Platform Engineer will join Lear's Rabat Engineering Center to work on embedded software projects for automotive applications. Reporting to the AUTOSAR Software Platform supervisor, you will contribute to the design, implementation and verification of AUTOSAR‑compliant software components.

Key responsibilities

• Review specifications and create documentation according to Lear's software and system processes.
• Define new software requirements and verification methods based on system requirements and design documents.
• Analyze software requirements against hardware schematics, datasheets and design constraints.
• Design and implement software units following the defined architecture, requirements and coding standards.
• Perform static analysis, code reviews and unit/integration testing of software components.
• Review test specifications and support integration of software units into the overall embedded system.

Required profile

• Engineering degree in electronics, computer science, telecommunications or a related field.
• Solid background in embedded software development, preferably in the automotive sector.
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
• Process‑oriented mindset with attention to detail.

Required skills

• Proficiency in C programming.
• Experience with C++ (including C++11) and Python.
• Knowledge of AUTOSAR architecture and experience configuring AUTOSAR‑compliant stacks.
• Familiarity with static analysis tools and code review practices.
