AWS Cloud Engineer (Remote - Morocco)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced AWS Cloud Engineer to join a leading software engineering consultancy. The role is fully remote (based in Morocco) and focuses on building, automating, and maintaining secure, highly‑available cloud infrastructure for production applications.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and optimise AWS infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Terragrunt, Ansible).
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins) to support automated software delivery.
• Manage containerised workloads with Kubernetes, Docker and Helm.
• Implement monitoring, logging and alerting solutions (Grafana, Kibana, Datadog, CloudWatch).
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root‑cause analysis and drive long‑term improvements.
• Collaborate with software engineers to embed DevOps best practices throughout the development lifecycle.
• Continuously optimise cloud resources for performance, security, reliability and cost.
• Leverage AI coding assistants to accelerate infrastructure development and operational troubleshooting.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Cloud, DevOps or Infrastructure Engineer.
• Strong hands‑on expertise with core AWS services and account management.
• Solid experience with IaC tools such as Terraform, Terragrunt or Ansible.
• Demonstrated ability to manage Kubernetes, Docker and Helm environments.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines using popular automation platforms.
• Familiarity with observability tools (Grafana, Kibana, Datadog, CloudWatch).
• Fluent English communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote‑first setting.
