About the role
The Business Development Manager will lead strategic growth initiatives for BLS International, focusing on expanding the company’s global footprint in visa, passport, consular and citizen services. The role bridges government affairs, diplomatic relations and international business strategy to drive revenue and market presence.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute end‑to‑end business development strategies to enter new markets and grow existing ones.
- Identify and secure large‑scale contracts, public‑private partnership models and strategic alliances.
- Build and maintain relationships with embassies, consulates, government bodies and international institutions.
- Navigate regulatory, compliance and geopolitical frameworks affecting operations.
- Lead negotiations for MoUs, commercial agreements and partnership contracts.
- Collaborate with technology and operations teams to align growth initiatives with digital transformation and automation.
Required profile
- Proven experience in business development, preferably within consular, visa or global mobility services.
- Strong background in government affairs, diplomatic engagement and policy advocacy.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex, multi‑stakeholder projects and large‑scale contracts.
- Excellent negotiation and partnership management skills.
