Civil Supervisor (English Speaking)

About the role

PROMAN Morocco is recruiting, on behalf of one of its clients, an English-speaking Civil Supervisor in El Jadida. The role covers construction supervision during phases II and III, including monitoring subcontractors, quality and schedule control, and contract management.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare the project construction plan during construction phases II and III.
• Monitor project progress, give early warnings, analyse factors affecting the construction schedule and suggest remedies; recommend actions for breach of contract when subcontractors are involved.
• Take part in contract negotiations, supervise contract execution and implementation, and monitor subcontractors' progress and plans.
• Communicate with subcontractors about the quality management plan and clarify key points of professional quality control.
• Review entry plans for materials and equipment, inspect construction materials and strictly control technology and quality.
• Prepare site commencement, organise subcontractors' entry and coordinate disclosure of site conditions and drawings.
• Manage quality, schedule and investment during construction, carry out inspections and handle technical, safety and contract issues with subcontractors.
• Handle quality identification and economic negotiations in line with company regulations.
• Organise solutions for major technical problems, prepare technical requirements and calculate drawing quantities (settlement).

Required profile

• At least 4 years of experience in a similar position.
• Experience at JESA or OCP is desirable.
• English-speaking profile.
