Cloud Engineer

About the role

Mindera is looking for a Cloud Engineer to join an agile, collaborative team. You will act as a technical partner, helping to build resilient, high‑performing systems on AWS while working closely with developers, leadership and clients.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full lifecycle of AWS cloud infrastructure, ensuring security, cost‑effectiveness and performance.
• Partner with developers and senior leadership to embed DevOps best practices into daily workflows.
• Automate provisioning and deployments using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Terragrunt, Ansible) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Participate in root‑cause analysis, observability and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Travel nationally and internationally as needed (estimated 0‑15% of time).

Required profile

• Growth mindset with strong Unix troubleshooting skills.
• Enjoys a politics‑free, collaborative environment and can work with minimal supervision.
• Clear communicator in English, able to explain technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.

Required skills

• AWS (networking, accounts, infrastructure).
• Terraform/Terragrunt and Ansible for IaC.
• Kubernetes, Docker, Helm charts.
• CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab or Jenkins.
• Observability tools like Grafana, Kibana, DataDog or CloudWatch.
• Scripting in Bash, Python or JavaScript/TypeScript.
