Cloud Engineer (Microsoft Azure & Google Cloud Platform)

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Cloud Engineer with 2–3 years of hands‑on experience in Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform. The role focuses on designing, deploying, securing, and automating enterprise‑scale cloud infrastructure while collaborating with software engineering, DevOps, cybersecurity, and solution architecture teams. You will enjoy automation, troubleshooting, continuous learning, and building scalable cloud platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy and maintain cloud environments on Azure and GCP, including virtual machines, storage, networking, databases and managed services.
• Perform infrastructure sizing, capacity planning, cost optimization and ensure high availability and scalability.
• Configure and manage networking components such as VNets, subnets, NSGs, route tables, VPN gateways, ExpressRoute, load balancers and firewalls.
• Deploy and operate Kubernetes clusters (AKS, GKE), containerize applications with Docker, configure ingress, autoscaling and perform monitoring and upgrades.
• Implement API management solutions using Azure API Management or Google Apigee, including publishing, security policies and lifecycle management.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions or GitLab CI/CD, and automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, ARM templates or Bicep.
• Apply cloud security best practices, manage identities, RBAC, Key Vault and respond to alerts with Microsoft Defender for Cloud and Sentinel.
• Support cloud operations through monitoring (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights, Google Cloud Operations Suite), incident management and performance tuning.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of professional experience with Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform.
• Strong background in cloud infrastructure, networking, Kubernetes and Infrastructure‑as‑Code.
• Passion for automation, troubleshooting and continuous improvement.
• Ability to work closely with cross‑functional teams including developers, security and architecture.
