Commercial Diver

About the role

Archirodon is seeking experienced Commercial Divers to join its North Africa diving team. You will work on complex EPC projects, performing underwater installation of concrete mattresses, blocks and other subsea components in line with engineering specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out safe and efficient underwater installation of concrete mattresses, blocks and related subsea components.
• Operate and assist with lifting gear, hydraulic tools and rigging equipment for precise placement.
• Perform pre‑dive safety checks, follow dive plans, and complete post‑dive reporting.
• Inspect and maintain diving and installation equipment on a routine basis.
• Assist in underwater surveys, capturing video and photos as required.
• Coordinate with surface support teams and ROV operators, reporting any anomalies or safety hazards.
• Maintain accurate records of dive time, tasks performed and project progress.

Required profile

• Valid commercial diving certification (any commercial diamond certificate).
• Commercial diving medical certificate or fitness clearance.
• Proven experience in surface‑supplied diving operations.
• Experience with subsea pipeline works and concrete mattress installation.
• Ability to communicate effectively in a commercial diving environment.
