Consultant R2R / Digital Close

About the role

Deloitte Extended Services, a wholly owned subsidiary of Deloitte France based in Casablanca, is hiring a consultant focused on digital close solutions and finance process improvement. You will work with clients to enhance their finance operations, supporting finance transformation projects and process optimization. The position is open to remote work.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in implementing digital close solutions such as BlackLine, Redwood, Workiva and OneStream to improve financial close processes.
• Support finance transformation projects, streamlining financial reporting, intercompany reconciliation and close processes.
• Work with client teams to gather requirements, understand current processes and identify improvements.
• Help configure digital finance tools and support solution design and deployment.
• Contribute to project delivery so tasks are completed on time and to the client's satisfaction.
• Leverage emerging technologies, including Generative AI, to support finance automation.
• Prepare documentation, training materials and presentations, and take part in workshops to train client teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in finance transformation, consulting or a similar role, with exposure to digital finance solutions.
• Knowledge of finance and accounting principles, including financial reporting and reconciliation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, basic project management and excellent communication skills.

Required skills

• Experience with digital close tools such as BlackLine, Redwood, OneStream or similar platforms.
• Understanding of Generative AI concepts in finance is a plus; preferred candidates have exposure to digital close solutions, cloud-based financial systems, ERP integrations, data analytics and financial compliance standards.
