Consultant – Revision of Morocco’s National Adaptation Plan

About the role
The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is seeking a consultant to support the revision of Morocco’s National Adaptation Plan (NAP). The role focuses on integrating human mobility considerations into climate‑risk analyses, sectoral priorities, governance, implementation, monitoring and adaptation finance.
Key responsibilities
- Provide evidence‑based analysis of climate risks and their interaction with migration and mobility.
- Contribute to the development of sectoral and territorial priorities that reflect human mobility dynamics.
- Assist in strengthening governance structures, implementation frameworks and monitoring mechanisms for the revised NAP.
- Support the alignment of adaptation finance with mobility‑focused objectives.
Required profile
- Expertise in climate adaptation planning and migration dynamics.
- Experience working on national policy documents or strategic plans.
- Ability to produce inclusive, evidence‑based recommendations.
