Cook – Multiple Opportunities Across Canada

About the role

Hirez Manpower Solutions Inc. is partnering with hospitality employers across Canada to place qualified cooks, line cooks, prep cooks and chef de parties in full‑time, long‑term positions. The role involves preparing and cooking meals in a fast‑paced kitchen environment while maintaining high standards of quality, safety and presentation.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and cook individual dishes and complete meals according to recipes.
• Assist with food preparation, portioning, plating and presentation.
• Maintain consistency in taste, quality and appearance of all menu items.
• Follow food safety, hygiene and sanitation procedures at all times.
• Store, label and rotate ingredients correctly.
• Support inventory management and ingredient preparation.
• Keep the workstation clean, organized and fully stocked.
• Collaborate closely with chefs and other kitchen team members during busy service periods.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a cook or in a similar culinary position.
• Strong understanding of food preparation, cooking techniques and kitchen standards.
• Ability to follow recipes, manage portions and adhere to sanitation guidelines.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Professional attitude, reliability and a commitment to continuous learning.
