About the role

Save the Children International is seeking a Coordinator, Vetting to join its global People Operations team. The role ensures that employee vetting processes are carried out accurately and timely across all countries, supporting compliance and safeguarding standards.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct daily vetting checks on candidates worldwide and run periodic batch‑checks.
• Manage DBS renewal checks, monitoring expiry dates and ensuring timely renewals.
• Verify right‑to‑work documentation in line with legal and organisational requirements.
• Maintain internal databases and the HR Legal inbox, ensuring data integrity.
• Liaise with global and country offices, providing prompt responses to vetting requests.
• Escalate any concerns to the Team Lead, People Operations and Legal Counsel as needed.
• Communicate vetting procedures to country offices and deliver related training.
• Provide ad‑hoc administrative support to the People Operations team.

Required profile

• Previous general office administration experience.
• Familiarity with HR and recruitment processes.
• Strong understanding of confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
• Excellent judgment and ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
• Attention to detail and strong written and oral communication skills in English.
