Data & BI Engineer

About the role

As a Data & BI Engineer within Forterro's Enterprise IT Applications team, you will help shape the company’s data‑driven strategy. Working closely with stakeholders across multiple teams and geographies, you will design, develop and optimise scalable data solutions that support reliable reporting, analytics and business decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain a centralised data warehouse and associated ETL pipelines.
• Extract, transform and integrate data from multiple source systems, applying business logic and validation rules.
• Automate data processes, reports and dashboards to support business‑intelligence initiatives.
• Partner with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into effective data solutions.
• Monitor, analyse and resolve data‑quality issues, ensuring accuracy, consistency and compliance.
• Identify and implement improvements to data collection, integration and reporting processes.
• Lead data‑focused projects and manage priorities across multiple initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing and delivering data‑warehouse solutions.
• Strong expertise in SQL, ETL processes, data modelling and cloud‑based data platforms.
• Ability to build and maintain robust data pipelines while ensuring data quality, governance and security.
• Experience collaborating with both business and technical stakeholders.
• Familiarity with ERP environments, data migrations and system integrations is a plus.
