Director of Food & Beverage

About the role

The Director of Food & Beverage leads the strategic direction and daily operations of the property’s food, beverage and culinary outlets, including restaurants, bars, room service and banquets. This senior leader ensures the department meets brand standards, drives revenue growth, and delivers exceptional guest experiences while maintaining profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Set performance expectations for the F&B team and hold leaders accountable for service standards.
• Review financial reports, monitor budget performance, and recommend capital expenditures for equipment and renovations.
• Develop and manage the department’s budget, cash control and liquor control policies.
• Lead, coach and mentor the F&B team, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Identify market trends, introduce new products and drive innovation to increase revenue.
• Ensure exceptional customer service by acting on guest feedback and comment cards.
• Oversee hiring, performance management and employee development within the department.

Required profile

• High school diploma with at least 6 years of relevant experience, or a 2‑year degree in hospitality/food service management with at least 4 years of experience.
• Proven ability to lead large food and beverage operations, develop budgets and achieve financial targets.
