Director of Human Resources – Hotel

About the role

The Director of Human Resources will join the executive committee of the Rabat Marriott Hotel, reporting to the General Manager and collaborating with the Regional Senior Director of HR. This senior leader drives talent acquisition, performance management, succession planning and HR strategy to support the hotel’s business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the hotel’s HR strategy, aligning it with business priorities and brand standards.
• Lead engagement‑survey initiatives, diversity talent management and succession planning across the property and region.
• Oversee the human capital review process, assess leadership pipelines and drive workforce planning.
• Manage staffing and recruitment, coaching hiring managers, optimizing sourcing and ensuring competency in evaluating hourly staff.
• Design and implement total compensation programs, conduct equity analyses and communicate compensation tools.
• Supervise on‑property HR staff and market‑based HR specialists, providing guidance on employee relations and development.
• Act as change manager for high‑impact initiatives and represent HR results at owners’ meetings.

Required profile

• Either a 2‑year degree in HR/Business Administration with 4 years relevant experience, or a 4‑year bachelor’s degree with 2 years experience.
• Mandatory hospitality experience.
