Domain Strategy Analyst

About the role

Orange Business is seeking a Domain Strategy Analyst to lead strategic studies and innovation initiatives within the transmission infrastructure field. You will monitor emerging technologies, assess their impact on our network portfolio, and shape future architecture road‑maps.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct technological and strategic watch on transmission networks (WDM, satellite, terrestrial and submarine systems, optical fibers) and related domains such as AI and IP/optical convergence.
• Identify disruptive trends, evaluate business and operational relevance, and produce techno‑economic feasibility studies.
• Design, model and compare multiple future transmission architectures and evolution pathways.
• Develop engineering references, technical standards, best practices and architectural patterns.
• Participate in internal and external knowledge sharing (conferences, white papers, trade shows) and organise training sessions.
• Lead innovation programmes and manage end‑to‑end projects from design to deployment, setting objectives, resources and timelines.
• Monitor project performance with portfolio tools and report progress to management and stakeholders.

Required profile

• Deep expertise in network architectures, especially transmission infrastructures (WDM, satellite, terrestrial and submarine systems, IP‑optical convergence, fibers).
• Proven ability to conduct strategic and techno‑economic analyses.
• Strong leadership experience managing complex, multi‑disciplinary projects.
• Excellent analytical, synthesis and communication skills with an innovative mindset.
