EMEA Operations IT Transformation Senior Analyst

About the role

Société Générale's Global Solution Centre Morocco (SG GSC) is hiring an EMEA Operations IT Transformation Senior Analyst in Casablanca. Reporting to the Head of Operations – Europe, you will own reporting, data analytics, automation and process-improvement workstreams supporting post-trade Operations, designing controlled solutions that give reliable operational insight and improve efficiency across the securities trade lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Own transformation workstreams and complex deliverables from requirements gathering through implementation, transition to business as usual and post-implementation review.
• Design, build and maintain Power BI dashboards and KPI reporting using DAX, Power Query and data modelling.
• Produce reporting on settlement performance, fails, volumes, prematching, exceptions, reconciliations and operational controls.
• Analyse large operational datasets to find trends, root causes, risks and improvement opportunities.
• Maintain data-quality controls, reconciliations, lineage, access management and validation checks.
• Build automated workflows with Power Automate and Microsoft 365, and assess automation and process-improvement opportunities.
• Develop requirements, process maps, test scenarios, UAT coordination and implementation plans, and keep JIRA records, risks and status reports up to date.
• Provide business-as-usual support for dashboards, datasets, refreshes and workflows, including incident triage and controlled releases.
• Support stakeholders across the securities trade lifecycle, including onboarding, knowledge transfer and continuous improvement.
• Comply with risk, regulatory and internal policy obligations, including the Group Code of Conduct.

Required profile

• Experience owning reporting, automation or transformation workstreams under defined governance.
• Working knowledge of the front-to-back securities trade lifecycle and its risks, controls and KPIs.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent organisation, attention to detail and stakeholder management.
• Sound understanding of operational risk, information security, change control and controlled production environments.
• Financial-services experience in securities operations, custody, brokerage or asset management is advantageous.

Required skills

• Advanced Power BI (DAX, Power Query, data modelling, dashboard design, performance tuning).
• Power Automate workflows and working knowledge of SQL and structured data analysis.
• Strong Excel and Microsoft 365 skills.
