Emission Calibration Engineer – Rabat

About the role

We are looking for an Emission Calibration Engineer to join our team in Rabat. You will work on calibrating engine control systems to meet stringent emissions standards while collaborating with cross‑functional experts.

Key responsibilities

• Calibrate engine control components such as fuel injection, air management, EGR and after‑treatment systems to reduce exhaust emissions.
• Conduct engine and vehicle testing on dyno, road and laboratory benches to validate emissions performance.
• Analyze test data, adjust calibrations and ensure compliance with Euro, EPA and other regulatory standards.
• Support certification processes and maintain adherence to environmental regulations.
• Work closely with powertrain, software and validation teams to troubleshoot emissions‑related issues and balance performance trade‑offs.

Required profile

• Degree in Mechanical, Automotive or a related engineering discipline.
• Knowledge of automotive diagnostics (OBD, trouble codes) and ECU systems.
• Understanding of internal combustion engines, combustion processes and emission control technologies.
• Familiarity with emissions regulations and testing procedures.
• Driver’s licence B (AW18) and strong analytical/problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Calibration tools: INCA, CANape, MDA, CRETA, Optisim.
• Data analysis for emissions testing.
• Automotive diagnostics (OBD, trouble codes).
• ECU system configuration and tuning.
