About the role
Carry1st is seeking an Entrepreneur‑in‑Residence to lead market expansion in a target country. This 12‑month, high‑intensity program gives you full ownership of revenue growth, go‑to‑market strategy, and partnership building.
Key responsibilities
- Own the P&L for Carry1st Shop in the assigned country, driving revenue and customer acquisition.
- Design and execute aggressive growth strategies, including performance marketing, influencer activations, and community‑led initiatives.
- Identify, negotiate, and close strategic partnerships with local payment providers, telcos, and retail chains.
- Monitor competitive landscape and ensure Carry1st remains the market leader in pricing, user experience, and content.
- Provide deep market intelligence on gaming culture, consumer behavior, and regulatory changes to inform product and engineering teams.
Required profile
- Proven entrepreneurial drive with experience in high‑growth environments, preferably e‑commerce.
- Track record of scaling consumer products and optimizing unit economics.
- Strong network within the local technology or gaming ecosystem.
- Exceptional negotiation skills combined with hands‑on execution ability.
- Data‑driven decision‑making mindset.
- Fluent in English and the primary local language(s) of the target market.
