Facility Manager (m/f/d) - Salé

About the role

A facility management position in Salé covering the supervision of buildings, technical infrastructure, maintenance, utilities and related projects. Documents must be submitted in English.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the subordinate organisational unit, supervise employees' work, evaluate performance and ensure compliance with labour regulations, OHS, environmental and fire protection requirements
• Ensure safe, efficient and cost-effective operation of buildings, offices, production facilities, roads, parking and green areas, including planning and supervising renovation, modernisation and infrastructure improvement projects
• Manage the departmental budget, define objectives and priorities, and support procurement of facility services and equipment
• Oversee electrical, HVAC, compressed air, water, sewage, heating, ventilation and lighting systems, and plan preventive and corrective maintenance
• Manage contracts, suppliers, service providers and contractors, monitor their performance and support emergency preparedness and business continuity
• Supervise cleaning, waste management, welfare facilities and workplace conditions, and cooperate with OHS, security and environmental departments
• Monitor energy, water and utility consumption, implement sustainability and energy-efficiency initiatives, and lead investment, relocation and expansion projects
• Support digitalisation and automation, and follow up on corrective actions from audits, inspections and complaints

Required profile

• University degree in facility management, mechanical, electrical, building services, industrial or civil engineering or a comparable technical field
• At least 10 years of professional experience in facility management, technical infrastructure, maintenance or building services, including at least 5 years in a leadership role
• Experience in a manufacturing and/or automotive environment
• Proven experience managing facility projects, capital investments, suppliers, contractors and external service providers
• Knowledge of facility management, building systems, maintenance programs, OHS, environmental and labour regulations, and budget planning and cost control
• MS Office proficiency; fluency in English and French; Arabic and additional languages are an advantage
• Willingness to travel
