Finance Analyst – Manufacturing & Operations

About the role

We are looking for a Finance Analyst to support the Manufacturing & Operations sub‑vertical of TE. The role will own the non‑plant P&L, provide analytical insight, and partner with supply‑chain and procurement leaders to drive transparency and cost control.

Key responsibilities

• Own and manage the non‑plant profit and loss, acting as the primary contact for non‑plant activities within the Power and Signal Solutions sub‑vertical.
• Develop and implement new reporting tools and analytics to create transparency across non‑plant areas.
• Track, reconcile and report material productivity and freight costs on a monthly basis.
• Monitor TE‑BIT project pipeline and provide regular updates.
• Serve as the go‑to partner for global supply‑chain and procurement leaders, building analytics to support decision‑making.
• Analyse non‑plant P&L performance, bridge actual vs forecast vs budget, and communicate gaps to management.
• Provide data and analysis support to operational functional leaders and coordinate issue resolution.
• Standardise and automate reporting in partnership with the ACOE team.
• Control indirect spend, hiring plans, material burden costs and recoveries; forecast and budget shared non‑plant P&L.
• Conduct cost‑center accounting, cost‑saving reviews and ad‑hoc financial impact analyses.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum 8 years of finance experience in a global manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing organisations, supply‑chain processes, budgeting and forecasting.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Good knowledge of SAP.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently under tight deadlines with a continuous‑improvement mindset.
