Finance Analyst – Plant Operations

About the role

As a Finance Analyst in Plant Operations you will support accounting functions, forecast financial data and help shape the plant’s financial plans, reports and policies. You will work closely with plant leadership and commercial teams to ensure accurate costing, variance analysis and asset management.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain master data (material masters, routings, standard costs) in SAP, manage standard cost rolls and design control checklists.
• Analyse material usage variances and purchase price variances, identify root causes and drive corrective actions.
• Assist in annual budgeting, lead monthly forecast preparation and provide commentary on deviations.
• Ensure compliance with capital assets policy, prepare fixed‑asset reports, lead physical counts and manage inter‑company asset transfers.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Management Control or Industrial Engineering with a finance focus.
• 3–4 years of finance or controlling experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial plant environment.
• Experience with costing, variance analysis or fixed‑asset accounting in a production setting.
• Exposure to international or multisite operations (automotive, electronics, aerospace) is a plus.

Required skills

• SAP FI/CO (mandatory) and SAP master data management.
• Advanced Excel.
• Power BI, VBA/Macro development or other BI reporting tools.
