Finance Director – Hospitality Property

About the role

The Finance Director will act as the strategic financial leader for the property, shaping and executing financial strategies that support the brand’s service objectives and drive profitable performance. Reporting to senior management, the role ensures robust financial planning, analysis, and control across all hotel operations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement annual operating budgets, forecast sales versus expenses, and identify cost‑saving opportunities.
• Lead financial analysis of market trends, cash flow, and working capital to support decision‑making.
• Oversee internal, external and regulatory audit processes and maintain strong accounting controls.
• Communicate financial performance and strategic recommendations to owners, the General Manager and executive committee.
• Manage and develop the finance team, conducting performance appraisals and ensuring cross‑training.
• Ensure compliance with brand standards, local regulations, and contractual reporting requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field (4‑year) with at least 3 years relevant experience, or Master’s degree with at least 1 year experience.
• Proven ability to lead finance functions in a hospitality environment and to influence senior stakeholders.
